Slightly odd request but am looking in to doing some noise reduction to the HDs in my case. What I'm after; is a way (programme perhaps?) to make my drives access in such a way as to produce the peak amount of noise that they can produce. If that makes any sense? Maybe this is something a certain benchmark could provide me with. Any ideas?
