You can hear my turbo spool, if you come off the throttle around 2.5 / 4k you can hear it dumping the air back into the intake system.

Simple solution = up the boost
Mine whistles like a good-un.
I can get an electronic bleed valve and double the psi on mine without any hardware issues but I'm worried I'd get carried away with it

Loads of 93 owners have turned theirs upto 8 without issues.
10 can be done, but then you have to start worrying about little things like...hardware internals

Haha, I take it that's low?
Not a clue how to fit the valve though, and to what pipes either. If I can find some decent intructions then I'll probably do it. What sort of bhp gain would I get by doubling the psi?

It's a low pressure turbo designed for smooth power to match the performance of similar, competing, yet normally aspirated cars.
Low? I had mine set at 17 for my last RR run.
Point taken.
I'll look into it, I'm sure I can spare the cash for a bleed valve!

O I gathered that mate, but just shocked at 4psi, didn't think any turbo applications ran so low. But it explains why they're relatively easy to get good gains from.
