As for the app it just looks like it removes some contrast/saturation and adds some noise to their faces?
 
I love how people are saying that it does not work because if they use it without make-up, it looks wrong...

Its designed to remove make-up, putting in a picture with no-make is bound to make it behave oddly...

Its a "meh" from me. We all know what make-up does, and that people look different" without it. Storm in a tea cup.
 
the 'outrage' over this is ridiculous, it does more than remove makeup and removing makeup isn't inherently sexist - men can wear makeup too

I think the outrage over the apps that display your face as white/chinese/indian/black etc.. as supposedly being 'racist' are ridiculous too, I don't see much difference there between having those options and having say you as an old person, as the opposite gender etc.. they're just a bit of fun and frankly there isn't anything inherently racist about it

It removes thick black lines from mascara and colours from eye shadow and blusher. That's why in some pictures the eyes look strange because it is conflicting with the pupils in the photo.

Should be mandatory filter on any selfie a woman posts, might cut down on the thousands of stupid toilet selfies.

Am I weird that I have never taken a selfie?
 
This app doesn't remove make up it just makes people uglier by heavily decreasing the density of their eyelashes, eyebrows and increasing the density of skin irregularities.

But hey, why miss an opportunity to get outraged about people getting outraged? :rolleyes:
