Ever thought about making an online shop for extra cash? what can you sell, everybody has done it nowadays. Ive thought about it but just dont know what to sell. anybody got any ideas? bit stumped on what i could sell.... cheers

You can make money selling small electrical components on a well known auction site. You can buy large bags of LEDs, resistors, heat shrinks and spools of wire from China and if you solder them together there's definite profit in it.

Yes, food.
But cant as this stupiid rented house wont pass the inspection for the kitchen.

Roll on buuying my own house.

Although wouldnt expect it to bringh much in. Pocket money rsther than a job unless it got big which would take years. But its a cheap, low risk way to start.

Quite a lot of competition out there for vaping supplies. Do you think it's viable?

In the short term I can't see why not. Anyone can order in bulk from there for about half the price. If you sell it on for even for 30% markup you will turn a tidy profit and still be cheaper and everywhere else. As long as it is clear the stock is in the UK and you can offer fast delivery.

this seems like a really vague thread...

Do you mean selling random items you own on well known auction sites?

Or do you mean, actually opening a business/shop to sell things?

Crack, there's plenty of profit to be made. you'll be rolling in a blacked out bimmer in no time!

Snow, sell snow, it's the perfect time of year at the moment. Mail order snow!

Seriously, if you have no idea of what to sell why do you want to open a shop? If you don't know what to sell and are asking others then the chances are that too many people are already doing it.

Do you have a skill or in some way you can offer a service to others?

This would be an amazing pitch on Dragons' Den.

"Hi, I'm looking for £250,000 to start my online shop."
"Ok, what will you be selling?"
"I don't know, what do you think I should sell?"
Extended, awkward pause, accentuated by editing and camera cuts

And scene.

I'd watch that. :D

There's no point making an online shop unless you have the scale to drive traffic to it, which is why places like eBay and etsy work.
