Making some extra money

I want to make some extra money on the side too.

I have about £300 atm aside for some sort of investment, although im not sure which.

Me and a friend are thinking about putting £200 each together for an investment - hes making $1000s atm. We intend to make about £10k from this. Any further ideas?

Btw we're both 17 :).

I'd use it to buy some shares in Facebook when they do their IPO.

Was thinking about investing in the Stock Market - My dad is an Accountant and knows where to invest etc.

But what i will do is try get more money before this. For example use £200 and make it £800ish. And invest £400-500 in stock market, and carry on.

Not sure where to start really.

Sorry but if he 'knows' where to invest then he would be a very very very rich man and I doubt you'd have to worry about investing yourself!! :p
