Malaysian Grand Prix 2010, Sepang - Race 3/19

You would think they would have learnt from last year

They were told in advance of last years race the weather would be atrocious, did they listen? Know they moved the race later in the day where it would take place the perfect time of day for a big thunderstorm.

How on earth was Webber so quick? Miiiles faster!

Williams were fantastic today as well, very impressed. Kubica did a very good job up till Q3 too!

I can't believe that the front running teams got this call wrong. I don't have a £400m per year budget behind me, but me and everyone else with a tiny bit of common sense could see that putting a lap time in early Q1 was essential even at the possible cost of a set of intermediates. This exact mistake has been made many times before, yet they keep trusting in these rain reports which have been shown regularly to be unreliable, and even though there is little upside to gambling on a late run.

He went on Inters, everyone else was on wets. Great lap from Rosberg, fastest guy on Inters. Schumacher embarrassed himself today- MS from 91-06 would have been on the front 2 rows, not 1.1s off his team-mate. Should be a great race tomorrow with the Ferrari's and Mclaren's charging through the field.

just watched quali, had to work today :/

silly call from mclaren and ferari, first thing you do is get a banker lap. as soon as it said they had stayed in i new they would regret it.

should be an interesting race though, with 2 of the fastest drivers on the grid in 19th and 20th. hopefully hamilton will continue from last week and have a cracking race.

odds for a podium?

**************************************K! Just watching it now on iplayer ... and the 2 people i have put a 10er on each (alonso and hamilton) are out!

Just my luck......

Formula 1 is **** :p

was wanting to hve a free night out tomorrow from winnings of hamilton winning :(

haha

Easy Rybo.

The odds are that it will rain tomorrow during the race. If this happens, it is quite possible that Alonso or Hamilton could win. If its dry then I can see RedBull getting a 1-2 (providing their cars dont break).

Don't give up, just yet.

Really looking forward to this race tomorrow.

Though Schumacher is in 8th, I can see that this could present an opportunity for him to impress - a wet race could see him move up the field and collect some better points. I never really supported him when he raced previously, but it's great to see him back and I'd like to see him get some results!

Vettel to pass Rosberg and Webber, Hamilton to have a mental drive, Rosberg to somehow cling on to the podium and Webber to stick himself in the gravel.

1 - Vettel
2 - Rosberg
3 - Hamilton

:p

L Hamilton: "I wouldn't have done anything different, it's a lesson learnt"

Well it clearly isn't a lesson learnt if you wouldn't do anything different is it? :p

Just finished watching my recording of qualifying, and that was fun. My earlier race prediction of Alonso, Vettel, Massa might now require a couple of interstellar drives from the Ferrari duo. :o

His lap was stunning, but I'm more interested to see how Mark Webber is going to manage to crash in to some one, from pole.

I did think Schuey was going to make me eat my earlier words, but that wasn't great from the ol' Rainmeister. This is where his enormous experience should've counted.

And one final thought, which was wetter... The track, or Eddie Jordan's armpits. :D
