Depends - is Alonso an extra pitstop quicker than Massa

they probably dont want to stick him on the softs yet, plus they may be saving the pitstop incase it rains

Those Ferrari's are seriously conserving those engines.
Doesn't make sense though no one can be confident it wont rain and Alonso with a downshift problem is still faster than Massa.
From where they are the gamble on pitting alonso early would have been worth it, instead ferrari are watching him stuck behind his own team mate.

Nothing wrong with Alonso's downshift, he is just downshifitng late to conserve his engine.
EDIT: mabe he does, just sounded like he was conserving the engine to me.

Ferrari say you sir are incorrect. Still impressive that he was able to drop back from Massa and catch him by 1.5 sec a lap.
