Vettel obviously turned up the engine power.

He's putting the hammer down, i'm guessing to build up enough of a lead to do an extra stop ?

Just found out that Ferrari are running new engines this weekend, Red Bull and McLaren are running the ones they used in Australia. Gives Ferrari another bit of a performance bump.

Trulli retires with a clutch problem.

Vettel is burning his tyres before their speed is gone, if they suggested earlier lap 28/42 for his stops, and he came on in lap 26, he's probably coming in for hards lap 38-40, and realistically he needs as much of a gap as possible against Hamilton, who will probably go back on softs, maybe, maybe just go to the end on the hards.

Problem is no one knows how the hards will do, if he waits too long to go to softs, he'll lose their advantage. He could be stuck 1-2 seconds a lap slower in the final 10 laps, and a pit stop for faster tyres won't "even out" with his better speed.

We'll have too see.
 
nah not so much sandbagging as adjsting the engine ECU maps

He's obviously turned up the power trying to build a decent lead. Gap up to 8.8 seconds over hamilton now.
