Malaysian Grand Prix 2013, Kuala Lumpur - Race 2/19

I'm guessing at least 1 person will use DRS this session.

I wonder what the true story is behind the software problems? Somebody not paid their bill?

It was reported last week that some mice had chewed some cables.

Surely there must be someone there who can splice in new pieces of wire to replace the damaged sections, then just add a few layers of electricians tape and then some duct tape to waterproof it?

Thought it gets disabled when it is wet?

It should be done automatically, but the Race Control telemetry isn't working.

They can throw out the DRS Disabled messages, but the teams have to ensure the drivers don't use it, or face the inconsistance of the Stewards

There's a problem with the link from the FIA to the cars that allows them to turn it off. So they can say its disabled, but its up to the drivers to not press the button.

They had the problem in Australia too, but nobody is really saying why.

Edit: Beaten! There's a few theories floating around. Software glitches, mice, or that the new ECU has issues.
