Malaysian Grand Prix 2014, Kuala Lumpur - Race 2/19

You still don't seem to be understanding that my objection has absolutely nothing to do with feeling it is 'too harsh'. I can write it in capitals or different colours if it would help drill it home?

If you think it's all just because 'I don't like it' though, then we might as well leave it there because you're clearly not reading or not comprehending what i'm saying to you.

Well how about you try explaining your objection clearly instead of just telling me I don't get what you are saying? I hope is more than you just saying it's two punishments when it's just you arbitrarily claiming the one punishment is two. No one else is calling it a double punishment. Even Christian Horner said that the rules clearly state the punishment is both a 10 second penalty and a 10 grid place drop.

I already have, go back and read, i'm not expending any more effort on it this evening.

Pick a penalty and stick with it, double penalties is beyond stupid. That's what I have issue with.

F1 got enough flack last year for not settling these things in the race and so now they've added the idea of doing a race penalty AND a post race penalty?

What sort of drugs do they smoke in their offices? That's the dumbest idea since double race points.

Oh yeah, there's the reasoned and well explained argument right there. Sorry I didn't understand the cerebral point you were making  So it boils down to you labelling it as a "double penalty"?

I won't be posting any further responses to the continued baiting now though, knowing my luck I'll end up with a suspension from it

Was anyone one else playing "spot the digital advertising"? The Petronas and F1 app logos were CGI, as was the big Visit Malaysia one. Any others I missed?

I might have missed it but do we know what is making Mercedes so fast? I.e. In 2009 we had double diffusers, 2010 onwards we had ebds, flexi wings etc.

Mercedes have spent a lot of time and money over the last couple of years building engineering talent for this year's change in rules. They've built their own car and engine, so have the most intimate understanding of making it work together. They've also managed to build an engine that seems to be the most powerful and efficient one on the grid. Mercedes also seem to have sorted all the issues around the software and integration to make it all work together. They've fixed the problems they were having using the tyres properly.

They've also got a couple of the fastest drivers to take advantage of it.
