Malaysian Grand Prix 2015, Kuala Lumpur - Race 2/19

What the hell was going on at the end, bit of an anticlimax, good work from Vettel. but i kinda feel that was more due to the mercs fannying about, still should spice things up a bit at the start.

it almost looked like nico wasnt sure what to do, so he let lewis through so he could follow his line.

So Lewis didn't improve which means the lap Rosberg blocked him on could have been his best. That's a bang to rights blocking case right there.

Do the FIA need a team to request a blocking investigation or can they penalise off their own back?

If that was Nicos intention, its was a HUGE fail on his part:D
Then again it wouldnt surprise me...

I don't know, they shouldn't, I dislike this whole rules but only when they fancy enforcing them feel to the sport.

I was rewatching the 2007 season races over the past week(skipping large parts of boring crap though) and Brundle was very outspoken about the Alonso blocking Hamilton in the pits incident as it was a team matter according to him and the stewards shouldn't have gotten involved, it should have stayed within the team. He got a grid penalty as a result which is fair enough. I have no idea why Brundle thought flat out cheating to steal pole from your team mate shouldn't be punished by the stewards, that to me seems nuts.

Rosberg, the more races he's involved in the more slightly dodgy things he seems to do, most of them aimed at Hamilton.

The Stewards can investigate anything they want. Don't need a request from a team or Race Control or the Scrutineers.

At least he can't do The Finger these days! :D

I still do from time to time. Slightly different finger though. ;)

So should they only apply the rule if its between 2 teams and not if its team mates?

The rules state you can't impeed a driver, regardless of which team. Rosberg impeeded Hamilton and he didn't improve.

Ahahah. "I don't really remember". Hamilton's been PR gagged by the team already!

yes, I don't remember doing the fastest S1 time then losing 2 seconds in the second sector.... like 10 mins earlier, can't remember it at all.... sure :p

I think that was more Hamilton trying to get under Rosbergs skin, and by the look on Rosbergs face, it's working.
