Malaysian Grand Prix 2015, Kuala Lumpur - Race 2/19

Surprised Vettel got so close to Hamilton. Ferrari looking much better this season should definitely add to the drama if more than 2 drivers are going for the race win.

Vettel had fresher tyres and a drier track

Hamilton had already aborted a lap on those tyres so when it came to the last lap was running out of the grippiest part of the tyres life.

That banker lap ham did looks even more impressive now on a much much drier track it still wasn't beaten by anyone.

To some degree he just nailed the lap exactly on the limit first time out, then every further lap he tried to push further but found himself over the limit, losing control and ending up slower. It was an amazing lap.

This made me laugh much more than it really should have.

I think that Lewis would have finished 0.7-1s faster if he had a blockless run so it's probably for the best he was blocked, merc can point to this result when various talking heads complain about their advantage. 'see, we only finished a few hundredths ahead, split by another team!'

But Rosbergs stock value has took a hit, did twice the amount of testing got a better position on the track and still was made to look the fool. That's got to sting.

Lol, Mclaren.

Feel sorry for Alonso, Ferrari might finally have a decent car the year he jumps ship.

Rosberg up to his usual dirty tricks.

That was a quite a good qualifying session, Ferrari pretty much confirmed now that they're back to being relevant. Unlucky for Kimi and a good effort from Vettel.

Race should be fun if Vettel gets ahead of Hamilton into turn 1, the Ferrari looked good on Friday in the long runs. Same with Kimi, provided he avoids a collision on the first lap considering he's sandwiched between drivers who are notorious for being a bit clumsy..

Am I the only one who's not impressed with Rosberg? He's being shown up for what he is, a 2nd rate driver. Getting beat by inferior machinery should be classed a sin especially in that car.. Rain or no rain! :p

He always does. He's always made poor career decisions and I think not going to Red Bull will haunt him forever.

He's only made five moves, and only two look bad and one them was forced.

Mindardi to Renault - Won two world championships (good move)
Renault to McLaren - Nearly won the championship in first season (decent move)
McLaren to Renault - Relationship broke down moved a year or two too early, after that McLaren were rubbish (poor move)
Renault to Ferrari - Nearly won championship in first season (decent move)
Ferrari to McLaren - Looks like a poor move
