Malaysian Grand Prix 2015, Kuala Lumpur - Race 2/19

What exactly are you expecting? Alonso to end up ahead of one of the main teams?

I don't think so, unless they have some failures leading to extra pitstops or penalties.

Did I ever say that anywhere in this thread ? No. I just think he'll out drive Button.

That was quite obviously a joke. I know it's early but don't be pathetic.

Thanks for calling me pathetic. Nice to know someone got out of the right side of bed this morning. I hope your house does not burn down.

Beating button is what you'd call doing something "special"?

Okay fair enough. Very low threshold for the use of such a word.

Well, I've always maintained that Alonso is one of those great drivers who can always wring the absolute best from a car no matter what it's like, whereas Button is the opposite and, unless the car is perfectly to his liking, is nowhere.

Guess we're about to find out if I'm right haha! Will be interesting to see their relative performances.

theres a lot of fuss made over ferrari in 2nd, mercs are going to disappear in a few minutes...

Not least because Vettel was even closer to pole last year, which considering the ridiculous margin between them is pretty insane. Vettel in wet qualifying is excellent here. Being with 0.1 in qualifying is fairly meaningless, he finished 24 seconds down last year after qualifying even closer. Different car, sure, though RBR was effectively in the same position as Ferrari this year, though closer in Australian qualifying, as close here in wet qualifying but miles behind in race pace anyway.

Kimi, the man with no luck :(

also right after the pit stop so an entire lap like that, no chance of anything now.

Ericsson driving a little like a GP2 driving, banging Verstappen in the first few corners, tagging Kimi and ruining his race and for no reason at all.

Okay, Nasr not Ericsson then, my bad, though commentators said Ericsson. Surprised they changed the front wing for what seems like one corner of damage.

EDIT:- Rosberg really not close behind Vettel, seeing as he's close enough to Hamilton he's staying in cooler air maybe and thinking about trying to beat him out in the pitstops instead.

Ericsson now screwing it up.
