Malaysian Grand Prix 2015, Kuala Lumpur - Race 2/19

Will any engine company want to work with them soon?

When they won, it was despite the engine being pants.
Now, they're not winning it's because the engine is pants.

The bit with the Red Bull part numbers are all perfect...

It's just like Ferrari used to be. The sleek, gleaming red bit is Ferrari. The black smoke and oil belching bit is FIAT.

That reminds me of how last year Ferrari let their fans decide the car model name. Some joker slipped in "F14T" and it wound up winning.

Both Alonso and Bottas have been passed fit to drive this weekend by the FIA.
Bottas has had his seating position and pedals adjusted to avoid a repeat.

Interestingly Alonso is now contradicting what has been said previously. Says he didn't wake up in 1995 or speaking Italian and that he only had about 4 hours of memory loss in the hospital.
Crucially he says the steering locked before he crashed.

Great to see them both back in the game. At least Alonso can blame his accident on finishing at the back :)

Flipping eck.. one minute he thinks its 1995.. allegedly. The next, he remembers everything. Fascinating story this is becoming!

Manor have been fined £1.9 million for failing to take part in Australia.
Their prize money from 2014 is £35.4 million, so 1/19th of it has been taken from Manor and been distributed to the other teams.

Williams have named Sutil as their 2015 reserve driver.

At least he's not a pay driver (well, not in any meaningful way). He's not the best obviously, but he's better than many who will be starting on Sunday.

Came out of the blue though.

I wonder if they'll give him any Friday running later in the season? Perhaps they're evaluating replacing Massa at the end of the year, or Bottas if he moves on, and Sutil is a solid, if not spectacular benchmark.

Either way, he'll not be getting paid, but it keeps him in the F1 circle and gets him time in the simulator at the very least. It works for both parties.

The high tech world of F1 and it all comes down to a sanitary towel. :D

To be fair he does suffer from excessive sweating while racing. I guess you just gotta do what you gotta do to make the best of it.
