This is the two I use, just update them before running a scan.

Malware bytes and Super Antispyware are great for removal

Check the AV thread for recommendations on AV software, I would use Kaspersky or Avira premium myself

The free version is not time-limited. It just doesn't run in real-time.

What if anything, do you lot use for real time protection?

I use SUPERAntiSpyWare and seems to do the job perfectly for me.

I might give malwarebytes a try!

Nothing personally other than my anti-virus. If I was going to use something extra then I would just re-enable Windows Defender.

Don't have windows defender, using XP

I am using spybots tea timer but it can be pretty annoying.

Malwarebytes. Love this. I still use Spybot and Spywareblaster but Malwarebytes is so easy to use, quick to scan and updates 2-3 times a day.

If your using a 32bit OS a good free addition is Threat Fire a quiet and light weight behaviour blocker
