Its a red finned shark. Not exactly a real one but they are cool non the less

Sharks are cartilaginous, that one's got bones in. It's fresh water too, not that this would stop it being a shark.

Me too, and I thought the red fins were blood until their symmetry gave it away.

Territorial fish those. When I was keeping tropical fish I knew of someone who had kept one of those red tailed sharks...for twenty - eight years! It had survived three house / tank moves and was still going strong! Though unlikely for most keepers it is still quite possible.

I have 3 of them (I know that they should ideally be kept single) They are 2 years old and I have had them for 14 months of that time. They have always been in the same tank together.

They do tend to chase each other from time to time but they stop after a 2 seconds or so.

I can't work out what part of your arm that is? It looks like your elbow and bicep area.....but then it's quite hairy up top and really skinny......confused
