Man puts hand over my back gate, gets bitten by my dog....

Lovely doggos! I want a German Shepherd or collie when I'm a bit older with free time.

When in was young we were moved to a block of flats whilst they did work on the row of houses. Somehow I decided to put my hands in the letter box of our flat, which was actually the one a level below. Got a right good bite from a German Shepherd and had to go get a tetnis injection.

I've also been in plenty of gardens for balls and many a summers night decided to 'dae the backs' which on occasion was 20 wee ****** jumping over hedges or knocking fence panels over with the weight of us climbing it.

Give the dog a medal and best cuts of meat...
post Dog's poo through his letterbox...

Seriously... it's just a ******* bite and it was his own fault... tell him to man up and carry on with his life.

Aggressive dog, then. Can't say I'm surprised.
An aggressive dog is one that attacks / bites without provocation, disliking cats or defending its territory does not constitute the same.
I’ve had an aggressive dog in the past, couldn’t let it off the lead and it used to try to attack anybody who got too close, it was a Black & Tan coloured Shepherd- completely different temperament to the White ones which are bread to guard and heard not attack, again as per my OP this is why you won’t see a White Shepherd Police or Military dog.

I used to walk them off the lead in my local park because I knew they wouldn’t go charging towards anybody or anything they saw, their instinct is to stay close and between anybody else and their “pack” they would bark if anybody came too close, all I did though was call them back to me and they’d be fine with whoever.

I don’t walk them off the lead any more after Marley (the big soft one!) was attacked by another dog (a Black & Tan Shepherd) he didn’t respond despite having his face torn open and neither did Roo because she was stood by me, protecting me. The other dogs owner was useless and had no control of his dog.

I’d strongly recommend a White one,so very different to the Black & Tan ones, extremely chilled out (my two sleep most of the time!) not destructive (although Roo likes to eat post!) and not particularly demanding of walkies - they are as happy going as they are staying in chilling- my old Black & Tan used to start trashing her bed if she hadn’t had a walk by lunchtime!

Sounds like the man put his hand over your back gate, got bitten by your dog?
The top & bottom of it, yes.
