Anybody going to the final, Im not cant afford it, seen loads of people already travelling down, they have all been coming through my village to get to the M6.

I predict 2-1 Wigan.

Wigan cant defend agaisnt either pace or quality.
If the wingers and/Or one of either Van Nistelrooy or Rooney have a good game wigan will get beat.

We were not great agianst them at OT and turned them over quite comfortably.
However, if we play like we did agaisnt liverpool, wigan will win 2000-0

I don't think any Man.U. fans will be going, they all said it was the Worthless Cup last year:)

well when you are out of the F.A Cup, Premiership looks to be out of grasp, out of Champion's League, priorities change like I'm sure most teams would :p ;)

looking forward to it, always thought we should have made some effort in this, and although we've got to the final a couple of times over the past 12 years (villa/liverpool?) we've never really wanted it as much as the opposition. My preferred starting lineup for united:

Van der saar
Neville
Ferdinand
Brown
Silvestre
Ronaldo
Fletcher (unfortunately)
Rooney
Park
Saha
RvN

I'd go for:

---------------------VDS----------------------
-----------------------------------------------
Neville--------Vidic----------Brown---------Evra
-----------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------
Ronaldo-----Ferdinand----------------------Park
----------------------------Rooney------------
-----------------------------------------------
------------V.Nistelrooy-----Saha--------------

yep, it's the team I would select if I was Ferguson, Evra just needs to be played more, he'll achieve no sort of form or experience in the Premiership sitting on the bench. Anyone is better than Silvestre. Rooney is practically playing that deeply now in most games, why not just play him in the Scholes role. :) Another option would be to take Saha off and replace him with Rooney and play Rossi in midfield. Or play Rossi up front and keep Rooney behind him. But that's never going to happen.

Man U has everything to lose, Wigan are the underdogs.

Another season with no trophy *possible*

This will scare the glazers and the banks.

Pollitt
Chimbonda
Henchoz
De Zeeuw
Baines
Bullard
Scharner
Kavanagh
Thompson
Camara
Roberts

C'mon, teach the mancs a lesson.

We had a mini league on the Pro Evo computer game and as expected I came out on top.

Leighton Baines finished second and poor old Pascal Chimbonda came in dead last.

I hope Wigan win, with Neil Mellor scoring a hat-trick.

class anymore, neither do Wigan

After 34 failed election attempts, including one controversial but headline-making application in 1972 to join the Scottish League Second Division, Wigan were elected to the Football League as Northern League champions in 1978 in place of Southport.

There is only Wimbeldon, who has gained done better then Wigan.

Wimbledon a team in the south in London full of money, up north its very different.

Man Utd
Liverpool
Blackburn
Bolton
Man City
Everton

All withing in 28 miles of Wigan, great thing for a team to do in the north with atleast 30 clubs about.

IMO our strongest side would be:-

---------------VdS---------------
---GNev---Rio---Vidic----Brown---
-Park---Fletcher--Giggs---Ronaldo-
-----------RvN----Rooney---------

I just hope and pray that Park and Ronaldo start and that he doesn't persist with Saha who does a better job breaking down our offense than most opposition midfields.
