Rival team/supporters were not happy when we got rid of Moyes.
Rival teams/supporters are not going to be happy that we are getting a top manager.
It's looking good for next season.
Many people have have bought into the "our players have turned to cheese in 2 months" theory, going from league champs to 7th place. Next year, we are going to find out if our current team players are genuinely past it or if it was the Moyes affect, which temporarily reduced their abilities.
Moyes was aptly described as an 'ability vampire' by another Man Utd supporter. I couldn't have said it better myself.
I never expected Moyes to win the league, or win anything this season. However , the least i expected of him was to retain Champions League qualification. He was taking over the team that one the league in a dominant fashion the season before after all.
I never actually thought he would do as badly as he has done (i.e. winning nothing and finishing 7th in the league..).
My mind is set now on Van Gaal, now.
In order to bring our existing players back in line we need a guy with big balls and LVG has the biggest.
I think its a done deal anyway now, so no point looking at other managers.
Rumour has it that LvG is going to bring Thomas Muller with him as his first signing. If LvG signs that is...add that to Reus, Hummels and Kroos and we are in the realms of fantasy football in my opinion....
LVG and Guardiola play passing one touch football. UTD don't have the players for that style of play and are going to need 5 to 6 players in the summer. Or they can try with jones, valenica, wellbeck etc.
