Managing to get a 7300 GT with DDR 3!!!!

I've just ordered a shed load of the Galaxy 7300 GT 256MB GDDR3 with Zalman cooler.

We got 200 units arriving in approx 10 days. Price is £69+VAT and product will be on the website available to pre-order by end of the day. :)

Also sourced some cheaper 7300 GT GDDR3 with STD cooler for about £15 less but have not confirmed yet. :)

So £81 for the galaxy and £63 for the standard one? (presuming the £15 less is before VAT). Not bad

Overclocking wise not much is happening. 500/700 ... I installed riva and coolbits - do they corrupt each other does anyone know? Obviously just using one though for oc'ing?
 
Whatever the "first" card is clocked at the second card will match!

Its better your score but again still not what I expected, there must be something wrong somewhere!

Btw, is it definately the 256MB card not the 128MB one and also is it DDR3 and not DDR2!

500mhz is the standard clock on a DDR3 model ;)
 
ocuk are gonna try n get 7300gt ddr3 in?!

Yeah ive tried to overclock the damn things but my screen goes skits and then eventually freezes as soon as i try and set a clock.

Im sure this is a driver problem, it may also be affecting my marks as well - what i will say is that BF2 runs very nice except for the usual crashes you understand :eek: :o

Anyone got experience with overclocking these things; i would be gratefull if you can post what you managed. I understand they can clock very high but im having trouble. I dont really want to start volting them either !

thats for the ones with the Zalman cooler mate, they aint available anywhere really tbh!

The £63 price we assume for the Inno3D ones he's getting in will be a good price cheaper than all sites I know of so its well done to Gibbo and OCUK if that happens! :D

The two brands will be Galaxy(for the Zalman) and Inno3D for default PCB!

Thats the cards I provided Gibbo with the info for and the only 2 available i believe in 256mb ddr3! so thats should be the two brands coming!
See my thread got us 7300gt's with DDR3 comin in :P thank me now! LoL!

Seriously though thats why I love this place cos they listen to their customers
 
This is the problem with low budget stuff, youve got amateurs posting.. well nothing.

As far as can see thier aint no screen shots(i havnt read the whole thread to be fair) but what use is rubbish links that dont work etc.

As soon as i can ill put up some proper screenies of 7300gt standard, oc'd and same with zalman cooler. Not being negative but this whole thread seems speculation or guess's.

It'll be nice to see how you get on. I'm looking forward to seeing what these do if people clock the nuts off them.

As i said earlier im still waiting on mines with one despatch notice of 1-3 working days just recieved :P should get a second despatch notice today as well with both cards arriving by the weeks end :P

As i said I will providin benchies and shots :P

sorry i was a bit drunk yesterday after a bad day at work so a bit ott :D

Notice a couple of cards are now on preorder, isnt it strange how long these are taking to get into mainstream, i guess low budget performance isnt top of manufactures list :rolleyes:
 
Lol its cool man no worries, its just taking me ages to get the freakin cards lol! Its like almost as epic as the Lord of the Rings Trilogy :P

Anyways Gibbo if your out there, when are you expecting the cards in? nice prices tbh! :D
 
Both cards ready for pre order it would seem. Very good prices ! I suspect the galaxy is the one too have as it will save you £25 on a new zalman cooler LOL

As for overclocking ive got the memory up to 1600mhz , just working on the rest now :p
 
Nice what card is it you have?
Apparently my delivery came from the dodgy website I ordered from :( lol My mum however is clueless and cant describe what the item is.....so now I need to wait until I get home to see if its what it should be!

Apparently there is another adress and name in the box containing the item....woohoo sounds like someone may have my 7300gt grrrrr
