I like to think that it's used in jest 99% of the time (and often in the other context of something being "pants" rather than homosexual). There are quite a few openly gay people posting on here, I'm sure they'd have made it clear if they were offended? :confused:

the odd time someone is actually homophobic, rather than making a gag, they typically get rightly put in their place

Yeah but does that mean we can use the dreaded Ameican "N" word if it's a joke? Doubt it. I don't really give a crap, was just wondering if a mod would reply, since this forum is part of OCUK after all, and it seems strange to disallow swearing but allow "YOU'RE GAY HOMO!"
