Manchester United vs Liverpool 09/01/11 and other 3rd round FA Cup matches *SPOILERS*

To be fair to Stevenage, we never turned up and they deserve the win. From the first whistle we just coasted while they looked for the goal.

I hope this is a wake up call to Ashley that we could do with some new players in the transfer window.

Diouf is complete scum, he's a total POS. I seriously couldn't dislike a human being more than I dislike Diouf, he's been acting that way ever since he started playing in the premier league.

Haven't read the thread but Arsenal desperately need a goal scorer, must have made 10+ fantastic goal scoring opportunities over the last 2 games, and scored 1 goal, a penalty. :/

Or all the strikers need to be staying behind for an hour after training until they can convert easy chances.

Ok, read a bit of the thread, some of you Arsenal fans are a bit reactionary! You can't win every game, especially when you make so many changes, Arsenal still played well and were the better side, just couldn't put the damn thing in the net!

What we need is, to play two strikers, and to play strikers, you know, in their own position.

One player I can think of, well maybe two, who Wenger has brought in, changed their position and seen them become world class. Henry and Flamini maybe(to be honest I have no idea what his original position was), even then it was him who turned the freescoring young Henry into an average winger, for again no apparent reason, then "fixed" that on Henry's arrival to Arsenal.

He's tried to move dozens of players now into new positions to teach them to be more "complete" players, its failed, errm, a gazillion times.

Walcott on the wing is laughable, just as Bendtner adapts and shows he can actually play the right wing he's now set on teaching him to play left wing, with Chamakh he's started to move around to wing positions at various points of games, Arshavin he moves all over the place, Reyes, Vela, etc, etc. How about, get a player who is great in a specific position, where you need a player, and you know keep playing them in said position so they can gain some form and the team can gain some consistancy. Every other game we've got a different type of player in a different position. One game you give it to Bendtner upfront who holds it up, does great and lays in fantastic passes for Walcott and other players, the next he's on the left wing, with no left foot and plays a completely different game.

I like how none of the coverage at all that I've seen has even mentioned Bendtners inch perfect passes, multiple times in behind the defence, which he did against Barca last season and has done so much for Arsenal. Walcott's penalty was from a literally inch perfect pass in behind the defender. If Fabregas, or Messi,Xavi, Scholes, just about any "press darling" had made that pass they'd be talking up how great it was, being Bendtner its not even mentioned at all.

Mostly poor performance, another truly epically stupid foul by Denilson though most retardedly in the 10 seconds leading up to it, Eboue goes out wide, does nothing wrong, entire midfield 4 just watched the play happen and made little to no attempt to get back, marking that second player would have prevented the whole thing, instead the midfield 4 waited, waited, then rushed back and Denilson made a rash challenge. Its classic Denilson/Song to be honest, stupid, you can flat out rely on them to do something utterly utterly stupid every game without fail and its also costing us far too often.

Chamakh has been entirely ineffective for how many games in a row now? Adebayor/Crouch/SWP syndrome, crap player manages to impress for his first 5-10 games, get a few goals, or assists, or both, then becomes a useless pile of utter crap. Yippee, thank god we gave him a HUGE wage while getting a free player and making him entirely unmotivated to give a flying ****.

Fed up with Wengers rubbish about every transfer somehow causing us to become the new City/Chelsea in terms of losing money every year. Its quite simple its not about just buying MORE players, its about SELLING the rubbish players, and replacing them, at basically no net cost(in wages and long term spending) with players who can help us win titles. 40k a week on Denilson or Diaby, or 40k a week on two players who can play football and stay fit more than a month a season.

It was a Stevenage fan apparently, and the reason he punched the player was because he wouldn't give him his shirt.

He's been identified on some Stevenage forum from what I can gather and can expect to regret being such a massive *****.

LOL at the Notts County goal, 99 times out of a 100 that would have been a free kick to the goalie. :D
