No one playing it?

Doesn't look much good from watching a bit of Doc and it's getting hammered in the Steam forums.
 
Yeah, I've had a few runs. Apart from the Windows 95 looking loadout menu, it looks good and runs well on my low end PC. The gameplay seems more PvP than PvE. The jury is still out at this point, but I don't think it's a patch on Arc Raiders.
 
Will try and give it a go at the weekend, do love a Bungie game, like Respawn they do the basics really well and I love their visuals.

Unlikely to play much as I just don’t have the time for online service games these days
 
Im not a fan of the art style, can't see anything taking me away from helldivers 2 and arc raiders to be honest, some of the best times ive had in gaming for a while
 
It's yet another extraction shooter type game, only one named after Bungie's original single player IP.

I'm more surprised anyone is bothering at all, it looks super generic and is in an extremely saturated market. The last thing I wanted from that dev' studio was a multiplayer focused extraction shooter, give me renamed Halo for a good campaign with good old school FPS multi attached.

This release has a high chance of killing off the studio.

I hadn't heard of it until the other day. Had a look at some screenshots and it just looks pretty awful imo. I'll stick with arc raiders.

Looks like one of the ugliest games I've seen. The pixel UI is horrendous and the art style garish. The gameplay looks empty and souless, I don't know why anyone would play this over games like Arc Raiders.

Thought it was hilarious that if you type 'arc raiders' in the chat in game Marathon stars it out lol. Small company mentality.

wow... watched some Twitch streams of early players last night and it really looks like something the dog left behind!

Arc Raiders looks so beautiful.
Marathon is a real turd.

I know graphics aren't everything but, IMHO, Marathon looks so poor I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole... and I had it in my cdkeys basket ready to go!
 
From what I've seen it looks like another game that will be dead in a week.

I've tried to watch a stream of it but get bored even watching it after a minute or two.
 
Played a dozen solo games last night and only managed to extract twice! A lot of players are camping extractions or objectives which is nature of the beast.

I think the game will shine best when played with a team.
 
I played it yesterday, it reminds me a lot of mirrors edge in the graphics department... I don't think I am going to keep playing it though its just very generic
 
Played a round there, visually impressive and very well optimized but my God the screen clutter is off the charts.
Gunplay felt nice too but overall i didnt get the urge to even play any further.

They ran an alpha last year, and apparently a lot has changed for this build and the full release. After some mixed first impressions, it’s finally starting to click for me, and I’m enjoying it now.
 
Not a fan.. hate the HUD and th whole user interface, and WOW, the colour scheme, it hurts my eyes.

Hard pass for me.
 
I had a quick game last night with randoms and found it hard to understand what to do, where we were going and why we were doing it. I tried it as a solo this morning and that was quite a bit more fun although I can't see it takin me away from Arc Raiders at the moment.

I tried 20 mins, got bored fast, I don't like the graphics. Also the UI and menus suck

This game is a flop and Sony will probably shut down Bungie for this
