Marathon

Extraction shooters aren't for me but i gave it a quick go because Bungie have earned a lot of credit in my book. As suspected, it's not for me at all. It plays very smoothly but I'm not keen on the overall look. It's a real shame Bungie went down this road as i get the distinct impression from all the discussion so far that this will be a flop. Hopefully they'll get the chance to make another Halo / Destiny style game and this won't be the end.
 
I think this will crash out as a bit of a flop. I think the botched first Beta, art style and the stolen art work really has put it on the back foot before it ever launches. I'm sure there'll be a LOT of coverage, but it won't hit the height Bungie want or hope for.

I could be totally wrong, but that's my gut feeling.
 
It’s not just the stolen art, splatoon graphics, messy ui, but the mere fact it’s being produced by Bungie. After the rubbish they have done to players of Destiny 2, there’s a lot of distrust in them.

yea im not a fan of the art style, can't see anything taking me away from arc raiders and helldivers 2 to be fair

Exactly the same sentiment as me. Had a go, nope, didn’t think I’d like an extraction shooter and it turns out I was right.

Let them at least make Destiny 3 before closing them down please!

Have you tried arc raiders and helldivers 2 ?
 
Optimisation could be better on pc same sort of settings on other games I get like 300 FPS or more. This I get just over 200. Anyway.. the game is meh not too fussed about it but at least I have tried it
 
they are, i wasnt much of a fan of extraction shooters either, but im really loving arc especially, only reason im not playing it currently is becasue of the new resident evil game, other than that i would be all over it, i find it good solo or with friends, but everyone different it might not be for you
