how long till he get the boot?

got to be after man united as it would be pointless putting a new man in just to get beaten again in his first game

whats gone so terribly wrong? main problem to me (looking on as an outsider) is the defense is truly woeful..they have a squad that should be mid table

would it even make a difference at this stage? could a new manager turn around a squad that must be so low on confidence

What's gone wrong?

Mark Hughes is an awful manager, there's your answer :)

I find it funny that a lot of their new signings moved purely for money and now they're going to be relegated.

I suspect it'll be over the next few days, that Fernandez bloke is probably still away with his F1 team.

Doesn't run the F1 team any longer. Handed over Principle position to another fella. Focussing on road car production now.

I like Tony Fernandez as a guy, but as an owner of a sports team, he seems too fickle with his adventures, seems to be more of a case of, oh what shall I do this week, oh buy an F1 team and run it... Oh is that a tub of Ben n Jerrys cookie dough, awesome, sorry what was I doing, nom.

I'll be surprised if he manages to keep his job for much longer, i wonder if QPR will do a 'Blackburn' and keep an utterly inept manager in charge and wait for them to go down before doing something about it.

I don't think he's woeful, by any stretch of the imagination - his stints at Citeh and Blackburn were respectable, imo. However, something's obviously terribly wrong at QPR, to the extent that he must be culpable (assuming he made decisions re: signings, etc).

thats the question isnt it..how may of those signed were his signings or forced onto him.

According to SSN he didn't take training today.

One thing my dad said that made me laugh.

"With all this money Man City have, why do they have a tried an tested failure as their coach" :p

He was an awesome player for United, but he's never really worked well as any other role.

I hate him but I have to say that comment from your dad is a bit harsh.

We brought him in when we weren't mega rich and he had done a decent job at Blackburn, he was kept on when we were taken over and give the chance to prove himself and he failed miserably and was replaced by a tried and tested manager in Mancini which has brought results albeit in the CL.
