Mark Hughes countdown

Should have been sacked after Saturday's game then at least RDM would have had time to get them ready for the next loss or two. Can't see 'Arry wanting a job with so much stress but the lure of some tax free earnings will probably have him on the coach tomorrow. :p

Surprised they have done it prior to the Man u game. Good thing is we don't have to deal with redknapps face on MotD anymore, yay!

Manchini left now, before xmas or after?

Got to be Old Harry in there. Can't see any other choice, it's a safe bet, he's very likely to keep them up, won't take them very far and he'll be touted for the England Job after WC 2014, when Hodgeson is sacked, so you can get rid of him easily then...

Also, as someone above said, sacking after the Man Utd game would be a risky plan, what if he got a fluke win, it would be a fluke, they'd find it difficult to justify sacking him really.

So you play it safe, sack him now, know tomorrow you were probably going to lose anyways, so a loss tomorrow won't count, hire the new Gaffer on Sunday and he can have a real chance of the right start come next weekend. It's sound reasoning.

Whether or not he was sacked today or next week, it wouldn't have made a difference to the result ie Utd winning with or without Hughes.

Exactly and that's why they should have sacked him after the Utd game. A new manager doesn't want his first game as Utd away.

So 'Arry had a choice between going to a dangerous, cold inhospitable place with locals who'll mug you as soon as look at you or Kiev, and he chose Shepherd's Bush

Conversely I would love to see QPR sky rocket up the table and finish ahead of Spurs :p

(the above could actually happen depending on what happens in January)

haha no it couldn't!

However, no doubt he's been given a considerable war chest as Redknapp simply cannot operate without spending - he doesn't "wheeler deal", he just spends lots.

Exactly!! Who knows who Redknapp may be able to bring in come January, no doubt he'll try and get Crouch from Stoke, Defoe from Spurs themselves and given AVB's the manager he'll probably be willing to cash in on him leaving Spurs with even less strikers to choose from :p

Pretty sure that Redknapp's agent talking about the Ukraine job will have forced Fernandes into sacking Hughes. There was no way Redknapp would ever have taken the Ukraine job. It was just a ploy.

Personally hope he fails miserably at QPR and expect him to do so too.

Twitch will save them from relegation but leave them in a season or two with a squad full of mercenaries on ridiculously high wages and extortionate bonuses. QPR will then go in to administration and subsequently plummet in to obscurity.

I enjoy how Sky talk about Redknapp as if he's a multi League winner, Champions League winning and World Cup winning manager.
