Mark Hughes countdown

He should have been sacked as I was leaving Loftus Road on Saturday :D

Never been to an away game where the home team were just that poor.

What's gone wrong? Hughes has the single worst eye for a football player in the premier league, anyone who thinks Shaun Derry is going to fix that mess of a defence at 60 mins has serious issues. All of his signings are from the book of "they are good on FM12 so give them what ever they want".

He signed Green on more than he was on at West Ham...

Would be amazed if any team is stupid enough to employ him again as pretty much every signing he has made with big money has cost the club badly (though he has done a reasonable job when the difficult parts of team building are done for him...)

Hughes has had a terrible time at QPR, although he kept them up last season!

He did however do quite well at Blackburn and did well at City, although he did buy some absolute stinkers there too.

Example three:

He signed Ryan Nelsen and played him on the pitch at all.

Madness he's still there, no board should be happy with what is going on there as it is all just clueless management. An entire squad not caring, not able to play together and relying on a lucky through ball hoof is just hilariously bad to watch.

Saved entirely last year by Boltons horrible injury record, Blackburns determination to self harm and Wolves making all the wrong choices (with a slight note to Stoke being gifted that goal against Bolton which was the biggest foul on Bogdan ever). Last years escape will not be repeated this time round.

Oh wait seems Harry could be announced as the new manager today, but Bowen will take charge for the United match.

Would be funny if RDM takes over at QPR :p

But wouldn't be surprised if it's dodgy 'arry that takes over.

A bit surprised that QPR sacked Hughes on a Friday.

Seems like silly timing to do it on a Friday and before a big game. Surely United will win now?

Whether or not he was sacked today or next week, it wouldn't have made a difference to the result ie Utd winning with or without Hughes.

IF he's stayed on for the Man U game and they'd somehow got a result, it would have been hard to sack him.

IF he'd appointed Redknapp for tomorrow's game, and they lose, 'Arrys off to a bad start.

Should have been sacked after Saturday's game then at least RDM would have had time to get them ready for the next loss or two. Can't see 'Arry wanting a job with so much stress but the lure of some tax free earnings will probably have him on the coach tomorrow. :p
