Hmm, that specific image is too low quality - also a little busy to work with the style (the faces would be so small you wouldn't be able to make out the details!)

Alright mate, I've replied to your message (cheers for the donation to the just-giving page) - I'll post it over the weekend to you (should be with you early next week).

Now at £700 raised in total (including gift-aid)

Redid the previous request (wasn't good enough) - reference was a bit to basic.

Found a way of extending the existing just-giving, just ordered some more poster tubes & grabbing another pack of bleed proof marker pads on the way home tonight.

So should *in theory* - be able to take on a few more requests (along with posting out some of the existing pictures I've got available a few posts up) - with the only one officially gone the Giraffe (with a few potentials on a few others).

It's funny, I wouldn't have picked the first image as the five hour mark and then the completed work as an hour or two to finish off. It looks very good though and I've long been a fan of monochrome art so seeing the earlier stages is pretty cool.

Hehe, well - the first one includes drawing all the black areas out first in pencil (which took lots of rubbing out & a couple of hours), for the shading I do it straight onto the paper (can't be bothered pre-sketching all that.

Also the lighter tones leave the pencil showing through, so try to avoid it when possible

I would love to see pics of a single drawing every so often just to see how you build it up next to the reference image if you ever felt inclined. Would be interesting...

I can do upto A3 atm (biggest bleed proof marker paper i can get from hobbycraft) l.

But yeah, pending on thrle reference shot i should be able to (really its bette if i can pickmyself - as only certain pics work with the monochromatic style.

Regarding the stages, ive got a couple WIP shots of the last one - ill upload them when i get home.
