Back again, missed these last posts - the second one is definitely better for the style - some good contrast .

Just finished another one, not for a request - just really like the Sin City style & the reference picture.

If you want me to have a bash at the second one you linked Burnsy give us a shout, in the mean time I'll have a play around with it & do a couple of practice sketches.

I really like the AT-AT and the Walter White picture, But maybe thinking of an Aragorn picture for my wife and an Arwen picture for me. Maybe one with both on I will have to have a hunt for a reference picture. Tony Montana could be a good one.

Let us know what you decide, had a quick look & so far can't find a good reference with both of em on.

The AT-AT & Walter ones are still free also.

Sketching done, black shade drawn & dusted - took two previous attempts to get this far haha, the first one I got carried away & slipped across the paper with the black pen (doh!) second I managed to mis-judge his eye position while checking the dimensions & started on the black without thinking (brain-fart moment) - but now the risky parts done should be able to get it finished soonish*tm.

How much would donations be for the At-At and Walter pictures Mark?

Well normally, it's £40 donation for an A3 drawing (with me covering cost of P&P), but if I was posting them both together & as the AT-AT one didn't take anywhere near as long as some of the more complex ones, I'd do both for a £65 donation - but I'm open to better offers as it's for charity not me!.

Cheers , I'm surprised nobody's after the Jessica Alba ones! (they seem to fit closest to my style.. well, would if I didn't forget to do the lips in red!).

The Sin City style comic stuff is always great fun, may have to do another 300 one at some point...

These all look amazing! What's the possibility of getting 6 people from different photos onto 1 A3 picture?

It would be very difficult (unless they are exceptionally high contrast pictures) - as the detail will most likely be gone once it's reduced to so few tones.

But I'll never know unless I try - but just so you know, the waiting list has grown a bit (lots of requests from work/here over the last couple of weeks, struggling to keep up atm!) - but feel free to pop the pictures to my trust/link to them & I'll have a play around in photo-shop & see what I can do.

Stage 2 & 3.

Black done & added cool grey 5 shade.

Cool grey 4 shade added.

Cool grey 3 & 1 left to go (2 looks almost identical to 1 so isn't worth using .... which I found out after buying a pack of 10 ><).

I could pick it up to save postage if you want I'm due over in Fratton next week.

If it's during the day I work just in Havant (pretty close) - or in the evening I'll most likely be in Fareham, so yeah - no problem if you want to pick it up instead (not so much the postage costs, but it saves me using another poster tube & having to order more)

All done (about 5 hours. 7 if you include my screw-ups! doh!) - really good choice of reference (makes the job much more fun!) - but I still think you should have asked for some ladies

Can take a better picture with a DSLR if you like - that ones with my S3.

Elmarko I'm interested in the at-at, but would like to have Luke's snow speeder in the scene trying to bring it down. In A3 if possible. Let me know if its possible please

The AT-AT ones finished (so not keen on changing stuff after I've set it as "done" persay!) , but I could look at doing another one with a flyer included, but it's a bit of a wait at the mo for new work (long list, which is good as it means more money for Shelter!)

Hi mate, quality thread. Are you any good at doing dogs?

There should be a dog a few pages back on here.

White/black dogs are much better (as they are naturally high contrast) but forward over a picture & I'll take a look.

But it may be a while (quite a few in the waiting list).

Replied in other thread , but it looks like they should work - it's just a case of finding the time really (Very good reference pics, high resolution, good detail - naturally high contrast , pretty much the exact ones I'd try to find if I was hunting for reference pictures).

I'll have to plan out when I can do them all (got a bit of a waiting list).

Ay, which one/ones were you thinking of? - as the hulk one would be cool in green (bit different) - but the sons of anarchy would work better in the high-detail(ish) style (as it would be a shame to waste the good reference) - downside is those take significantly longer! (11+ hours) - only done two like that so far.

(this one) - which is still available to anybody else who may be interested (I feel like a charitable Del Boy)

Hiya mate.

Normally it's a £40 donation for an A3 picture, for that one I'd prefer a donation closer to £50/£60 tbh (as it took 11 hours compared to the 3 or 4 hours I spend on the usual ones).

As much as I try not to, I have to factor in time/donation level for it to be worthwhile - as I cover the postage £6.45 per one & material costs of £4 per drawing(ish) - (stupid pens don't last long).

Heya mate, soz for the slow reply - had a long list of them to do & I'm frankly terrible at keeping track of stuff like this!.

I've up-scaled it & played around with the contrast/brightness to get enough core tones to work & I think it may be possible.

I'm fairly confident I may be able to get it done, but if you wanted all of the characters in it - I'll have to spend closer to 10 hours(ish) mark (as the detail required is much higher) & would have to ask for closer to a £50/60 donation (as I can do 2 or 3 normal ones in that time.

Obviously, donation is after I've done it & your happy with it mind (I'll send pictures), but it's your call.

If you wanted one of just a single character closer up I could do it much quicker & for a smaller donation.
