Yup that's one of the two forum requests I mentioned earlier I'll be looking at.

I did a quick pencil sketch to get the feel for it as my pens all ran out - but they arrived (my grey tones) yesterday so can get back to it.

Annoyingly my blacks ran out (ordered some) arrived, started one piece... greys ran out lol.. Doh! - got bulk this time

I'll have another look for reference photos & post one on here to see if you are happy with it.

Glad you like it & happy it arrived, worked much better in A3 (as you suggested) along with the extra couple of grey tones - meant I could add more detail - makes the A4 one look terrible in comparison lol.

Yup, forwarded it back home but had a quick look at the reference pictures & they look pretty good - the second one I'd guess would work better but I'll play around with them in photoshop with different colour/light balances - going to grab myself a few more tones for reds/blues from the local art shop (if they have any promarkers) to see if I can start adding a small splash of colour on each one (a bit of red, or blue on the lights maybe)

I'll drop you a couple of pics over email this weekend when I get a bit of spare time to give you a feel for what I would look like.

Yeah, drop us whatever you might like in trust - I've done a couple of peoples kids at work (but don't put them online or here as they are obviously more personal than celebrities/cars or warhammer lol).

The only thing worth considering is that that young children are pretty tough to do well (as my style is high contrast & kids don't have strong/distinct features).

Another one done as per a request earlier & posted away! - pretty happy with it but the reference was also well shot which made it easier!.

Having a short break from drawing (hands aching!) & re-installed some 3d modelling software, zbrush 4 here I come!

Came out better than I expected (almost ruined it with a slip of the black ink while touching it up at the very end (I swore very loudly!) - but managed to work it into the picture without it standing out! (phew!).

I'll be nipping it in the post over the next couple of days for you.

Dark hair helps a tonne!, but I'm happy to give it a try.

I've got a couple of requests in waiting which I'll get done first (also playing around sculpting with zbrush 4 which is eating my time!)

With that last donation that puts me at £480.00 (+£107 gift-aid) (96% to target), pleased so far as it's only cost me about £200 in postage & materials (stupid pens are expensive!)

On letraset bleedproof marker pads.

They run out pretty fast doing A3 work!

Looks interesting, should work in theory (will just have to play around & familiarise myself with the pattern).

The reference photo looks good - I'll see if I can find a higher resolution version of it when I get home, you've got plenty of time to think about it as I've got a couple in the works at the mo!.

First one from my own reference, photo from the Zoo (so technically my first one commercially viable!).

This one going to try selling at the local art shop (then make the donation myself) - try to mix things up a bit (might get a bit more that way, who knows!).
