I had one of the new Marmite cereal bars this morning.

If you don't like Marmite: This won't convert you.

If you do like Marmite: The flavour is rubbish and the cereal is like cardboard.

Crap really.

Now I am a big marmite fan - love the stuff.
However I found the marmite and champagne variety absolutely horrible.
I took one bite and was almost sick.
Just not a combination that worked in my eyes.

Must agree, it was just not up to my marmite loving standards. All this marmite is making me crave some big time!

Oh indeed - we got some last Friday.
Waitrose had a 3 day exclusivity on it from Friday to Sunday.
It should have hit other stores on Monday.
However be aware it's only selling in "boxed jars" at the moment and isn't cheap.

It does have a more mature, more refined taste to it.
It tastes maybe a little smoother.
Not night and day from "normal" marmite, but certainly different and I think I prefer it.
