Mars One

There will be no more seasons.

There will be no more interactions with other people.

You will never feel the sun on your face, or the warm breeze again.

You will never hear a dog bark in the distance, or the sound of fireworks.

You will forgot what rain on your neck feels like, or how the air feels in a thunderstorm.

You will never sit at a dinner table with friends the same way, ever again.

Thankfully we've always had explorers and always have, who have given up the luxuries and friends/family's to walk/sail off into the distance to relocate.

Also sound of a dog barking lol, why the hell is that or fireworks on the list, guessing its made by a dog owner. To the rest of us, dog barking is a nuisance.

You will feel the sun on your face, just a different type of light due to distance/atmosphere make up.
And these are replaced with tons of new experiences.

Surely tho the future of exploration is with probes and rovers. We don't need people to sacrifice themselves like in bygone eras.

As our probe and drone tech gets more sophisticated, putting humans on exploration missions will just be a liability.

And we really don't need people living on Mars. This venture will fail, I have no doubt about that. No one is going to be daft enough to accept a one-way ticket to a glorified desert in space (with no air!)
