Marvel Heroes

Completed the story on Sat, since then have been farming daily instances to unlock them on the Cosmic key hard mode, as Thor I can solo everything and I mean everything! Me and a friend did one of the events and we were struggling, he then got a drop which gave him +3 of his level 30 skills ( he was 26 at the time ) so he ended up having the equiv of a level 36 spell and everything melted!!

Normally I get bored and stop playing but the fact you can go to an instance, kill a boss in under 2 mins is fun!

Started leveling deadpool last night, got about 5 chars who are around level 8 or so now...

Despite the bugs, how unbalanced the game is in both PvE and PvP it's fun.

My Thor is level 30, he is an AoE demon for trash and has a good skill set for bosses... Just not sure how he will do in PvP, dodge seems OP in PvP atm.

Anyone else having a problem with the crafting guy? I have mine at rank 4, and it should be letting me upgrade blue quality items to purple. But when I put any blue item into the slot it doesn't stay, just goes back to the inventory.

I have this exact problem.

I dunno if its because I am missing something but i am trying to upgrade me Chest from a blue to a purple.

Does exactly the same thing you explain
 
I think its a bug for a lot of people. Just checked the Marvel forums and theres at least one thread about it. Fairly annoying. I have a couple of pretty sweet rares that I'd like to improve.

Not having that issue at all.

I'm sure you doing it but you can only upgrade blue to purple items which are bound to you?? So you cant upgrade Jean Grey hands when you on with Ms Marvel as an example. If that makes sense.

I'm still getting the sound bug plus when I'm playing with Jean Grey and transform to Phoenix, some of my abilities don't work! :rolleyes:
 
Apparently it's affecting gear around the level 12 range, so item levels 10-14 or thereabouts.
 
I spoke to soon, just dinged 12 on Ms Marvel and I cant upgrade blue to purple. Didn't have a issue on Jean and Black Widow which are both 13 :confused:
 
Literally just stuck my head in this thread and will happily admit to only reading the last few posts...........so please excuse me if this is a totally **** question!

I look at the details of the game on steam and I see the various paid packages but I don't see a free option and as I understand it, it's F2P.

It claims that "I already own Marvel Heroes" but this is the first time I have noticed.

Will it be available to download once the countdown timer has expired?

This sound bug is really annoying me tbh, the game has great sound effects and fantastic music (reminds me of the Quake soundtracks!) but you spend half the time in complete silence. This issue was around 4 months ago in the beta and still to this day hasn't been fixed... :rolleyes:
 
I seem to have hit a bit of a wall. The Magneto boss fight is insanely hard! His massive AOE attack close to 1 shots me and if that doesnt finish me off, I usually die shortly afterwards from his energy ball attacks.

Anyone beat him solo or in a group? Any tips?
