So Marvel have released a timeline for Phase 4 of the MCU along with some big surprises announced at the San Diego Comic Con.

As a big Marvel fan I for one can not wait for the next couple of years of Marvel content in both films and TV series!

I cant wait for marvel to ruin blade by making it PG friendly.

Also this looks like a really lackluster two years...almost like these two years will allow them to figure out what to actually do next.

Looks like a poor couple of years.

i agree, can’t see myself paying to see many of these at the cinema. I expect Blade will be forced through a PG filter and Portman was easily the worst part of the Thor films so to see the possibility of her becoming female Thor, ugh.

She hated the scripts before where she didn't get much to do other than be a damsel in distress (moreso in Dark World) but was contractually obliged.

With Taikia writing and directing it'll be a lot more like Ragnarok so I've got faith that'll make her character a lot more interesting. She's not exactly a bad actor.

Half of those titles posted in the op are Disney plus TV shows

Female Thor because Thor Odinson is unworthy, that just sounds forced. Given Thor's character arc does that sound right? Surely he is more worthy after Endgame than he has ever been, one movie (unless GotG 3 changes things) is not a lot of time to build and deliver that premise.
With no Avengers to pull me in Black Panther 2 and Captain Marvel 2 drop to wait for sky movies unless trustworthy reviews say they are considerably better than the first instalments.

And Shang Chi strikes me as an obvious we want Chinese customers ploy, because I can't say I'd heard of the character before the announcement.

I think it's going to be tricky keeping the MCU rolling at this point, the genre will suffer an obvious tiredness and the strongest characters have left after raising the bar.

The only saving grace so far for me from this "current phase 4" is Fantastic four for the 3rd time now is getting a reboot..hopefully it will get better treatment than Fox.
Maybe they will tie Fantastic four with Spiderman as Fantastic Four is present in Spiderman comics too?
Marvel/Disney with the whole Jane as next "Thor" sure does sound quite forced in, could have sworn I read an article stating Portman didn't really want to be in Thor movies?

Never heard of "The Eternals" or Shang Chi either but then again, i've asked this question before in the End Game thread how many of these Superheroes/comics have people actually heard of before the MCU?
As they are all considered Marvel's "B-tier" in popularity with exception of Spiderman and now Fantastic Four being in the "A-tier" for example.
