US: Marvels Agent Carter

They should have got Hayley Atwell for modern day Agent 13 -Sharon Carter as well. Marvel missed a trick imo.

She is stunning ;)

Yeah I half hoped that but i think some people would have got confused and assumed time travel :p

Holy Cow did you see her as a blonde in that dress. She be perfect for Agent 13 plus it part of the main storyline...... Nose bleeding must calm down.

MUCH, better as a brunette

In fact, did you see her right at the start, just after the captain america scene when she was looking out of the window (less makeup). WOW....dribble, dribble :p;):D

As with Flash & Arrow, a lot of you know the characters and maybe future story lines as you read the comics.

Well that has nothing to do with understanding the show, that would be knowing possible future storylines (assuming they copy the comics) The show isn't designed to require comic knowledge.

And this is exactly why I have a 'thing' for brunette women in 1940s get ups, and Hayley Atwell in that clobber, with that accent and that body is pretty much my perfect woman.

The show itself was good too, mind.

Jarvis is brilliant!

I was a bit concerned when she slipped into a bit of "giggly school girl mode" a few times, like in Starks apartment, but she soon reverted to kick as prim and proper English :)

I wonder if, as it's a short episode run, they will keep the single Stark storyline as the main spine for the whole series?

I liked both episodes but cant help to feel that the time that its set in would limit the progress of the story, technology wise I mean. That said I enjoyed the first Cap America but the second one was a lot better as it was bought up to date.

I do however think they have gone a little too girl power with it. Yes I know she kicks ass and is well trained from the war but even so, going against some men, with weapons or that are a lot bigger than her, but she still wins is a little unrealistic, crikey, it would be unrealistic for most men!

I really enjoyed the first two episodes of this. It's well shot, the acting is good, Hayley Atwell is great in the role and fantastic to look at, there's some good chemistry between some of the actors, and I don't think it's going to have any filler or chug along given that it's only a short run.

Couldnt agree more, it a little cheesy but it carries the theme from the first Cap America movie pretty well. ;)

The only thing that spoils it you know Peggy will live a long and prosperous life to finally meet Cap when he returns.
I still think Marvel could have done a lot more with it in the movie but that imo :D

Can't be quite as gushing as most on here, i thought it was average but watchable. Just didn't click with me and i don't know why, i normally eat this sort of thing up. It's also all a little "Girl power Rarrr!!" which is a bit lame and had some lazy stereotypes of the era, does the only nice guy in the show also have to be a cripple?

Still, Atwell is absolutely jaw dropping as a blonde!!
