I liked Agent Carter. I didn't love it.
I'm pretty sure before it aired there was a lot of promise about it being a significant story, one that ties in to AoS S2Pt2. I know we're only a couple of episodes in to AoS's return, but it's not looking like that's the case. Seemingly the only significant take-away from AC is that Black Widow presumably grew up in a similar facility to Dottie Underwood. Essential viewing? Nope.
I'd like to see it return. AoS wasn't particularly good or significant in it's first season either. Season 2, on the other hand, is pretty essential MCU viewing.
The lady that plays that russian spy is such a QT
I've nothing to back this up but it's looking like this might be gettiing cancelled. Half way through the season and they've started airing it as double episodes, 2 last night, 2 next week then the season finale the week after that. Not only that, Hayley Atwell is the lead in the lead in another new show; Conviction.
Not sure cancelled is the right word, Carter is usually used as short gap filling show before Agentds of Shield starts...
I realise that but cramming the last 5 episodes into 2 weeks and her joining a new show seems odd. Combine those with the fact that it's viewing figures are dropping like a rock and it's probably a goner. At the end of last season it's ratings were lower than where most shows get cancelled on ABC, this season they've dropped significantly lower again. I like the show but it's days are probably numbered.
