US: Marvels Agent Carter

Thought it was alright in the end, the last 4 episodes were far better than the first 4 in my opinion - just took too long to setup the premise of the big bad guys, but was a good watch once they got going.

I liked Agent Carter. I didn't love it.

I'm pretty sure before it aired there was a lot of promise about it being a significant story, one that ties in to AoS S2Pt2. I know we're only a couple of episodes in to AoS's return, but it's not looking like that's the case. Seemingly the only significant take-away from AC is that Black Widow presumably grew up in a similar facility to Dottie Underwood. Essential viewing? Nope.

I'd like to see it return. AoS wasn't particularly good or significant in it's first season either. Season 2, on the other hand, is pretty essential MCU viewing.

Pretty much my take on it, still enjoyed Agent Carter and hope season 2 does appear but yeah it needs a focused storyline and idea behind it, they have set up some premises so it can go further.

There is only so much flash backs on AoS also but its always fun. Loving AoS season 2 so far but got a few to catch up on, but yeah looks to be setting up big events leading up to the future marvel film even if it is due 2019 !

Season 2 of this has started! 2 episodes out already, only watch the first one though.

Was pretty good, maybe just because I find her rather easy to watch ;)

Really enjoying season 2. Love the setting, makes it a nice change from everything else I tend to watch.

I've nothing to back this up but it's looking like this might be gettiing cancelled. Half way through the season and they've started airing it as double episodes, 2 last night, 2 next week then the season finale the week after that. Not only that, Hayley Atwell is the lead in the lead in another new show; Conviction.

Not sure cancelled is the right word, Carter is usually used as short gap filling show before Agentds of Shield starts...

The lady that plays that russian spy is such a QT

Yeah she sure is. I could be wrong but I think she meant to be the Black Widow of that era.

I hope not. While it not the greatest. It still a good watch imo.

I realise that but cramming the last 5 episodes into 2 weeks and her joining a new show seems odd. Combine those with the fact that it's viewing figures are dropping like a rock and it's probably a goner. At the end of last season it's ratings were lower than where most shows get cancelled on ABC, this season they've dropped significantly lower again. I like the show but it's days are probably numbered.

I think it time to save the show and only used in emergencies. Operation Top heavy.

Her joining a new show isnt odd, actors can have more than one job at a time as long as there arent scheduling conflicts, the next episode of AoS is in 2 weeks so Carter will have wrapped up filming most likely before Christmas so just because shes now in something else doesnt mean that back end of this year she wont be filming another season of Carter..

If you are looking at her joining a new show as a single event then i'd agree, everything together though...

A couple of Presidential shindigs/speeches/whatever were unexpectedly brought forward in the US, which meant AC wouldn't finish on time.

Agent Carter has to finish by the time Agents of Shield comes back as Agents of Shield can't be moved due to it aligning with events that happen in CA:Civil War.

As such to get around this they've doubled up the episodes.

Nothing nefarious about it.

I found this to be a bit pants, Hayley's canny to look at but the couldn't get into the show!
