Mass Effect 2 problem

I just changed my 8800GTX for a 5850 and now when I try to load up the game it tells me I need PhysX. I know that PhysX is nVidia only so my question is can I run the game somehow?

Have you tried running the configuration utility & setting your graphics options in that before you run the game? (right click on the ME2 icon in the games explorer in vista/win7 & select configure)

You can run the game fine without an Nvidia card, but you do need to install the PhysX software.

I believe this is what you need:

Strange the installer wouldn't provide all the required files to play. Although I think PhysX was installed by Vantage on my system before I got ME2.
