Can someone please tell me how to hijack a mech? I shoot the glass with a sniper, but by the time it cracks, the mech instantly blows up?

I have not started this yet, still on my ME1 playthrough again. Do you guys think they will release something to end the game in the form of paid for DLC? That would be shocking.

I never got close enough to one to hijack it. Does the one in Grissom Academy count?

Apparently, you use a sniper on the glass, and the glass only. Once it smashes, you snipe the driver, leg it up to the mech and jump in. This is an acheivement.

But as I said, it always blows up when you finally break the glass.

:(

I think it will either stay as it is or it will be free. Though some idiots on the BSN are saying they will pay for it. I made an account on there just so I could tell them to shut up! ....we don't need them giving Bioware more ideas!

The reason I think that this is not the real ending is because the people responsible for the rest of the game, which is on the whole very well written, could not think that what they have done is a good way to end it. Plus all of the hints do build up.

I managed this last night, just shot the glass then took out the driver. Mech was close to blowing up but didnt.

It was on the mission where Cerberes try to take over the Citadel

Shocking but not the least bit surprising. Honestly you only have to look at how Bioware have done things lately to see they're only interested in profit. The Cerberus Network was originally supposed to be there so that owners of an original copy got exclusive content, in otherwords, minor DLCs, for free. So it started with Zaeed and the Normandy thing, then you got Firewalker (a completely disconnected work of genius, only a master could make something so mind-numbingly tedious), then suddenly all the minor DLCs like weapons and alternative skins became premium DLC and the Cerberus Network never saw the light of day again.
Then ME3 rolls round and they release the equivalent of Zaeed but make you pay extra for it. Really not difficult to see where its heading.

I can't see them charging for it.

All the hints point to something being released though imo. I am starting to think that this is a really badly done publicity stunt. .....I don't like it, but one of the hints on Twitter especially(plus the whole Normandy debate in general) makes me think that they are definitely releasing something.

If they do charge for a new ending, I will find it absolutely unbelievable!

EDIT- the worst one is Casey Hudson saying he wants the ending to be memorable:confused: ....Does he think everyone will forget?

It is a mess as it is though.

:( Spilt tea on my keyboard

The Twitter quotes etc. are probably just a form of damage control. Hint that there may be a solution. Repeat hints until interest is gone and the case is forgotten.

It is the only explanation that I can think of for the ridiculous Normandy problem. It is so obviously nonsensical that it has to be on purpose.....it would take a 3 year old 2 seconds to notice the plothole.

Snipe the glass, Then the pilot through the crack. I use the scope mod to see through the smoke, as they throw a lot of it if you start sniping. The mech will be pretty beat up, but should remain usable.

Also apparently the Ipad/Iphone app adds to galactic readiness, what a blimin mess all of this!

Reference ME1 whats happens if you want to play it say 10 years time and can't get access to the activation server etc? should we all be buying it on steam or something as well. With the almighty mess up with me3, i feel its time to get protecting ME1/2 LOL
