"Police confirm Las Vegas shooting not terrorism, but 'local individual'" - Daily Mirror.

Righttttt, so if it's not a brown person, it's not terrorism??

I don't think anyone suggested this as a serious option lol.

It ain't totally unusual for Americans to have like scoped ar-15s or like 308 calibre rifles in the gun safe in their truck, etc. depending a bit on state i.e. Texas it would be a little more likely.

It might sound harsh but I believe its how they want it, if they didn't then they would support change. They bang on and on about terrorists across the globe but more Americans die at the hands of other Americans than anything else and yet they simply will not address it or even consider it a problem, for many the answer is to simply arm more people.

Because something something our God-given freedoms America **** yeah.

Or had the weapon illegally/stolen or used a bump fire modification which does kind of match the rate of fire actually: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7DTjSla-O8

bump fire modifications tend to not be all that effective, inconsistent rate of fire etc. there is a trigger unit that works by firing once when the trigger is pulled and again when it is released that can get pretty close, and various other gimmicks on the market (including electronic gloves).

i'd say in this case it does sound like proper fully automatic fire, and you're right it could well have been stolen.

If it was anywhere else on the planet there would be global outrage and UN sanctions.
Foreign terrorists might as well leave them to it.

So where is Trump on all of this? Picture of other subject looks like native American to me. Where's the outcry to deport intern all native Americans?

This happening over here would shock me, it happening in a country where it’s the norm to buy assault rifles at the local Wal-Mart doesn’t surprise me at all.

R.I.P. to the victims, no doubt the NRA will be spouting some crap about citizens needling weapons to protect them blah blah blah  they will never learn alas - I have family in the states (Texas) the gun culture over there is so deeply entrenched most over there (my relatives included) are blind to their being a problem.

Terrorism has an actual definition, multiple homicides don't immediately become a terrorist attack, terrorism has political aims/motivations.

The first volley sounds kind of weird - some inconsistency though could be one person trying to fire two guns or acoustics like echoes, 3rd burst also is quite inconsistent though could be adjustment for target or recoil.

What are the state's gun laws?

The state of Nevada has some of the most permissive gun laws in the US. It is legal to carry an assault rifle and there is no magazine capacity limit.

There are no purchase permits and blue cards are no longer required.

There is no waiting period mandated for firearm purchases and private gun salesare OK.

Asking for trouble TBH.

originally had planned to be there at moment but due to flight availability we had to put in back to next week
