Also, people getting off trains in London at peak times aren't thinking about ambling into some nearby business. They are thinking of rushing to work or home.
 
Its not a worse idea. Its a one off cost to set it up, how ever they do it then, transmit the rubbish and anyone that walks in range, with it enabled, will receive it.

It may well be completely annoying but as a marketing tool its genius

Best you can do is advertise conventionally. If people want your service, they'll come for it.
 
do both... looks like it costs about 100 quid for a transmitter then "free" there after

probably costs that to hire a guy to do that in central London for a day aswell
 
You could even make up your own jingle and company dance, then stand outside your office singing it repeatedly in a loop and dancing. I'm sure that'll draw the crowds.
 
You're just as bad as the marketing calls you get at home, complete and utter scum.
