It’s bad guys, if you have friend or family there Check on them ASAP.

It happened in the middle of the night, Buildings collapsed as far as 200km from the epicentre, felt in Beirut/Israel and further out.

Turkey have declared a 4th level of alarm.

From what I understand this means it requires international aid.

Terrifying, absolutely terrifying.

Video of pipelines on fire, disregard the UK part of the the description no EQ here obviously.

Edit: Northern Syria seems to have been affected badly also.

Sounds not good. Hope assistance can be sorted out as soon as possible, to try and find survivors in collapsed buildings.

Hundreds of buildings completely leveled, people trapped under the rubble posting videos asking for people to find them etc.

The death toll is going to be bad :( .
 
Monster Earthsquake, 300 now feared dead.

Some of them videos are terrifying, huge amount of buildings over there not meant for size of an EQ. Experts saying it may be Turkey's largest ever EQ.

Pretty grim. Goodness knows but I suspect the regions involved were not prepared for that. Seeing kids pulled from rubble is not a great start to the week.
