*** MASSIVE PRICE DROP ON VEGA UNTIL JUNE 30th: VEGA 56 £450 & VEGA 64 £550 !! ***

Damn, thwarted!. :D

its obvious, hes trying to drive the prices down to buy another for crossfire :D

:D

Crossfire is dead, they call it 'mGPU' now. And it's still crap :p

Yeah. Some people also still going on about SLI which is also pretty much dead. Probably the type that enjoys playing games with the fps counter on showing a high number. They concentrate on the fps counter so much that they miss all the micro stutter :p

Yup, first Crossfire hit a wall and I switched to dual 980's from my 295x2 and then SLi bit the dust about 18 months later. Guess the users are so few that it's not worth bothering with, and that just feeds into itself. Single powerful GPU + Gsync/Freesync is the way forward.

Aka DX12.
not realy as back in the DX11 days and that ear of game engines (say 2015-16 and before) it sided on the graphics vendor to do most of the leg work.

Like anything in DX12 land that shifted to the developer, so a lot of the work the driver had to do the game has to do now, its big chunk of the reason why there not been the shift to DX12/Vulkan like there was from DX9 to 11, the time/cost/benefit ratio is just nto there in a lot of cases.

and with Multi GPU being a low down priority for a lot of developers and changes in rendering engines methods kinda hit the final nail in the coffin. The death of Multi gpu is why I switched from 980ti SLI to a single 1080ti.

I can only think of 2 games that did DX12 Multi GPU in any meaningful way, GOW4 and Deus Ex MKD
