master and slave help ?

Hi All I have just bought a Samsung F3 T1 Drive and want to know if there is a master & slave setting on SATA as i noticed the pins are empty and there is no connection pin ? is this correct ?

There is no master and slave arrangement on a SATA connection.

As above. They are serial connectors, so only 1 connector per drive. No jumpers required anymore!
