Masterchef: The Professionals

ive been enjoying this series so far, not so sure about tonights episode though where they have to work together in teams of 5,
im never a fan of normal masterchef either where they have to go and work in a pro kitchen

Few too many chefs to have in one episode and then to only eliminate 2. How many dishes can you taste and still appreciate? Will the last plates not have been sitting for ages?

I've always wanted to jeered how they organise the shooting so one plate hasn't been under the lights for 35 minutes

Here's a little secret for you, the food's always cold when the judges taste it. With obvious exceptions, critics, restaurants, chefs table etc.

That's why the meats always look dry, the the sauces tend to be thick and gloopy.

Brian let me in on his technique; not to even bother having everything cooked at the right time. He cooked things, set them aside, then rubbed a little oil on whatever meat he was serving just before he plated it up! :D

I'd wondered if they staggered the contestants cooking then just got them in as a group at each plate judging. I've got some background in filming tv series, so I wondered how they did it!

ive got a feeling that tonights 5 chef's are going to be crap compared to last nights 5 and the judges will send extra people home :)

I was surprised to see Bobby go in tonight's episode, but that last dish really didn't do him any favours.

Mark S is my favourite. As well as making some great dishes he's been pretty unflustered throughout, which should stand him in good stead going in to the final stages.

final tonight :o
i think that lad from Essex is going to win it,
imo Mark was the front runner right up untill he served the judges a tomato salad a few nights ago

Great final - all three chefs did really well. I think the chef that won thoroughly deserved it.

A good series this year. I hoped that Scott Barnard would win but Mark Stinchcombe walked away with it at the end. He does look to be something special.

Love this show. HATE Greg Wallace with a passion. Hate. With. A. Passion. He brings nothing to the party apart from numpty comments.
