Masterchef...

Shame about Denise, she was properly gutted :( I don't think it was fair to cull two of the semifinalists on one dish, and in one programme.

So - four blokes in the final - Chris, Christopher, Mat and Andy.

If I had to put money it - it'd be between Andy and Mat. Mat seems to have the style, but I think Andy looks more like a chef. His comeback so far has been quite gifted - almost like Greg and Jon felt like they made a mistake eliminating him early last year.
 
The funniest thing about Mondays programme was, please correct me, “has something from Mars or Martian landed on your plate. :D
 
cooking for the 600 tonight was awsome, the smug guy from last year looks like he's a real arrogant ****. needs his smile wiped off his face. oh and the guy with the beard, whats his nationality, theres a twang of new zealand or even canada? (different sounding i know)

The comeback is Andy (big nose), beardy guy is Mat. I think Mat's accent sounds South African - perhaps SA or somewhere close. They had quite a few people with foreign accents in the heats.
 
I think it'll be between Christopher and Andy. Martian yellow blob woman was useless as was the youngest female. "Experimental cook" is the term they always seem to use for someone that doesn't really know what they're doing!

Mat is ok if a bit of a cry baby, but I wasn't that impressed with his first dish of the week. I would have loved to eat it, but it didn't show much technique or refinement imo.

Greg loves-pudding Wallace is funny - the way he peers over his glasses when he loves a pudding amuses greatly!
 
It's a close call but I'm going for Mat Follas. I’m impressed by the way he has improved and by the fine touches he is now showing.

Yesterdays episode was good mainly because some of the music they played, including Daft Punk, Digitalism, im sure Crystal Castles and maybe Crystal Method.

the production is very very good and using music to create atmosphere and tension is something they do very well
