Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

Just signed up to yesbets (free for the moment). I've put £40 in betfair and the £5 into coral with 4 x £5 bets for doing so. Think I cocked one of them up but I should be still be about £9 profit if I've done this right. Do you have to keep topping up the Betfair account if that one keeps losing (am I right in thinking you could potentially lose most of the money from that account but the other one makes up for it as you've covered yourself?).

At the start if the bookies won, I withdrew it and deposited it back in BetFair. Doing the Bet365 sign up offer I managed to completely wipe out my exchange but couldn't withdraw from Bet365 so had to top up out of my own money.

Had a couple of instances where I've had to adjust my balances on yes bets by literally just 1p and 5p to make them match my betfair and a certain bookies balance. Not really an issue as it's barely anything but I'm a bit confused as to why this has occurred when I'm pretty sure I had the odds matching those shown within the yes bets calculater when backing and laying at the bookie/exchange.

I think I remember the winnings for a certain bet showing a few pence different to the yes bets calculater despite being the same odds..perhaps this is the reason?

I've had quite a few bookie wins which has decimated my exchange balance. Will have to stick some cash in to Betfair again.

that is, well, expected... you're getting value from the bookies and you're actually giving away a small bit of value to the exchange if you chose to lay

I started out with £60 in the exchange on 20th May, I had a slow start as the bookie bets won, but now my exchange account site on around £550/600 and I am about £500 in profit so far.

It's probably dues to the commission that betfair charges. When you add and calculate on yesbets, it pre-fills at standard 5% commission, but this changes as you bet more (reduces). I've seen some really weird commission rates on betfair like 4.999956% etc. So rather than try and figure that out every time I just do a balance update every now and again. If it goes seriously out, that's when you need to investigate, could be a best odds guaranteed result or a rule 4.

Bet365 inplay offer on England vs Russia game too

And yet again I'll be away from my pc but this time I'll be so far in the sticks I won't even have internet/3g access to put a 'punt' bet on again

Not got any top goalscorer ones on yet, hell of a lot of bank to tie up getting them on :(

Ah I see, sounds like the cause then. :)

How are people planning to do the Euros? My budget is somewhat restricted for the first half. I am considering doing a few top scorer, outright winners and England but only lay the England bets for now (I don't have the monies to lay and do the bet365 in-play offer on Saturday). Then like top scorer in the Rugby World Cup, lay further down the line or not at all (cheeky £130 from this in the RWC).

Germany/France - outrights (free bets for goals/wins)
Muller/Griezmann/Kane (:p) (free bets for goals)

And definitely do the bet365 in-play offer on Saturday night. Once I get paid, hopefully there will be some reload offers to do, from June 24th.

Where are you going? The moon?

If you go for different top goalscorers across bookies then your liability is reduced in smarkets

Paddypower outrights (£5 free for goal scored) is currently the best euro2016 offer

Not sure about the top goal scorer. Could be tricky to make good profits, and ties up a lot of liability during the tournament.

I'm going for the paddypower offer of £20 on a team to win each day (selected games) and you get a £5 free bet for every goal that team scores. Only need one goal to cover losses and make a tiny profit. Doing it for the first 4 days.

Also doing the new customer offer with BetBright of £10 on England v Russia (over 1.5 odds) and get £50 in free bets. Will probably do the bet365 £50 pre match and £50 in play thing also for the England game.

There's so many things going on I'm just leaving it there for now or I'll be looking at a screen all day. :p

I've done BetFair £25 on France to win and £5 back each time they win, and William Hill £10 on England and £5 back each win. They only need to win once to get me a tiny profit. I've done the Paddy Power goal scorer offer with Griezmann but might do a few more and lay them off further into the tournament. Hopefully they'll have scored a goal by then and the lay odds will have dropped!

Never done any betting befor,e let alone matched betting, but from time to time I've used some of the betfair or other offers that have some up on topcashback to get some free money from them.

Just wondering if I'm going to need to sign up for new accounts every few days for stuff with this, or once I've got accounts running I just keep using them?

I sit on my arse bored all day at work so can spend time doing it with no problem.

Done the same plus took similar offer on Sky with France

Not going to bother laying off free bets, too much trouble for small amounts

I've got these free bets to come so far

Betfair £5 per France Win
SkyBet £3 per France Win
WilliamHill £5 per England Win
Genting £3 per France Win

Paddypower £5 Per France Goal 10.6
Paddypower £5 Per England Goal 11.6
Paddypower £5 Per Poland Goal 12.6
Paddypower £5 Per Sweden Goal 13.6

Paddypower £5 Griezman (France) per match scored in
StanJames £5 Giroud (France) per goal scored

QL for the goalscorer ones were around a fiver each but all the rest were under £1. Will probably put a bunch more goalscorer ones on (the ones that do free bet per goal rather than free bet per match goal scored in) and then leave £500 or so for mid tournament offers
