Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

Have as many bets as you can afford to have on the go at once.
Keep in mind that if you have multiple lays on one exchange the liquidity is lower (I have not explained this well here!).

Bet365 is by far the best bookmaker. They have £50 horse racing offers most days.
I also regard Coral and Paddypower highly too

Thanks, yes, I'm managing around two bets at a time just now, but need more cash in the exchange, however my pot is growing slowly!

I've placed some mug bets at Paddy Power and I've not signed up to Bet365 just yet, but leaving some money aside for when I do.

Skybet have some GREAT offers for the Goodwood festival coming up. Might be worth mugging them at the moment to take advantage of it.

First one announced is the 14:00 on the 26th. Money back offer if your bet loses up to 25 quid.

Can underlay this with SNR (like the Coral Euro 2016 offer they had at the start of the Tournament) for a guaranteed profit if your bet wins, if it doesn't win you get the freebie.

Estimated £70 profit from 3 races and ~£14 from BOG but I am a little over £100 over what I should be which means I have logged something incorrectly with my ledger and I can't blumin' find where it is :o

More extra place races today and the odds are much better compared to yesterday. Just seen someone post on PA that his QLs were £200 to cover most/all the horses :eek:

EDIT - boom! A normal win and an extra place win today, a little over £300* profit if my sums are right :D

Edit - *About £150

£200 of QLs must have been a lot of bets, would this be every horse in every race at every course today? How long did that take to do? This is the part I don't get about matched betting as the examples are for one bet but what does a matched bettor do on a daily basis once the signup offers are done? How many bets does one make a day and which events to bet on? Is it a matter of placing as many bets as possible whilst minimising QLs?

Does anyone know of a service/API for querying bookies and exchanges as whilst YetBets is okay wouldn't mind obtaining the data and presenting it in a different way such as drilling down on a particular horse across multiple bookies and exchanges.

Woa 20 questions :p

I think he pretty much covered every horse but these type of events only really happen at special meetings or the odd one here an there. Plenty of offers to do when you have exhausted the sign up offers, usually on horses and football at the weekends when it's back. I probably spend between 5-10 hours week and average >£200 a month.

I'm looking at each way betting on extra places where I understand how it works but the problem I'm having is that by the time I've worked out the bets the blooming odds have changed and have to start again

How do you choose what to bet on?

I typically hunt for the best matches, starting with Match Catcher but that method normally fizzles quite quickly, then rinse and repeat. If I am covering a good few horses I start taking bigger hits on the QLs, today was £22 but not long ago it was £50 (hopefully an exception as time wasn't on my side).

Today I found the odds were a little kinder so the initial back and lay might have had e.g. ~£2 QL but the place back and lay would be an arb so softening the blow. Average QL loss today for all of the extra place MBs was £2.21 :)
