Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

I still do MB, I have made about 3k from it so far since around April/May last year.

Not a huge amount from what I could make, but I only spend a few mins here and there on it each week.

I made around 1500 quid during the Euros, but Paddy slammed me and gubbed me after that. Their daily promo was hit every single day. Suppose I had it coming.

Spend all day sat in front of a computer so thought I might give this a try! no referrals

Right so im in work. And ive actually finished all my work so kinda just sat around now till 6am.

This happens fairly often, was thinking might be a good use of time to get into this stuff.

Is there a good guide for toral beginers as this thread is very confusing at this point and a mix if outdated/up to date.

Im still not 100% sure what the whole thing is about.

I've got a fair bit of money i could use to start up but dont really want to "gamble" it.

Tefal, yesbets have videos and guides that are good place to start.

I know nothing of betting/gambling but it's not too difficult to start. I just don't have the time. think i've spent more on Yesbets subs than I've made in profit so far :p

You aren't really gambling.

You make a bet on a gambling site, for instance football, for X to beat Y. You then use a betting exchange to 'lay' that bet off. It means you win either way but you'll lose a few pence normally on sign up offers. You then get free bets that you do the same thing with and this is where you make the money.

I've only done sign ups but there's all sorts of offers.

Yes just started reading yetbets site now.

I didnt realise it was a matche dbetting site was under the impression it was just another gambling site that had some good offers lol so hadn't looked.

Well made 17.10 off the coral offer. Tis looks like it could be a decent thing. Need to get a litle net book as its a nightmare trying to do it on the mobile.

Ahh yeah just realised what i wrote in the other post cheers Kol sorry about that

Do you guys withdraw any coral winnings and put them straight back in bet fair as you go?
Working through the startup offers on yesbets

Slow going... If I have more free time I guess I can just put more money into betfair and go through the offers quicker ?

Had success with this year's ago but came to a stop when my brother had many gambling accounts at same address. Now I'm at a new address and new bank so seems to be ok so far
Need a heck of a lot of money to do things simultaneously it seems. But rhis pays off better than interest rates :p

Depends how much you want to "invest" at the start or whether you want to effectively only reinvest your profits. At my "peak" last year (during the euros, RIP almost all my accounts ) I had about 3k spread over all my accounts iirc even that's small fish compared to some. Means you can do any offer any time without running out of cash though.

Basically if you intend to carry on long term you can work on the mindset you'll need the money in coral again at some point and keeping it in saves faffing around with transfers, but does mean you stump up your own money to keep replenishing betfair

Almost all my accounts got restricted after the euros so waiting till I move house to open some new ones and go at it again

I've signed up to yesbets (bit late to the party!) and have been having a snoop around. Sorry this is more than likely covered somewhere in this thread but it's looong! What I don't understand is how this works out longer term - once you've done a bunch of sign up offers, do you not run out of new companies to sign up to?

No, bookies offer TONS of incentives to keep your business. These are called reloads and will become your bread & butter.

It's not just about sign up offers. Most bookies have regular offers and there and tons for each big sporting event

Thanks! Will give it a shot soon.

certainly seems the betfair liability is the biggest limiting factor my card just got bnlocked when i tried to put an extra 500 in it to quickly do some offers lol.

waiting for hsbc to phone now
