Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

Meaning to have a go for a while, finally got round to it.

My recorded profit what Yesbets thinks i have made doesnt match what i left in my betfair + ladbrokes.

In total i have paid out £50, i would have expected a return of £50 + X across the accounts. X being the figure in YesBets.

Am i reading/expecting this wrong?

Im certain i followed everything correctly, though of course maybe odds were out? I have made a small profit, just not what YesBets thinks.

certainly seems the betfair liability is the biggest limiting factor my card just got bnlocked when i tried to put an extra 500 in it to quickly do some offers lol.

waiting for hsbc to phone now

This will only bother you once, you'll probably have to send in ID and stuff but once you're in the clear it's plain sailing. Also, use Smarkets instead. 2% commission instead of 5

Post up some screenshots and we can take a look.

I've been lurking around this thread over that past 6 months and after reading the discussion and advice given on match betting along with the tutorials on yesbets I'm finally ready to give a go. I have zero experience nor any interest in gambling or many sports however my understanding is this shouldn’t really matter with match betting.
My question is should there be an amount I’m looking at to initially deposit to get me started on a slow steady pace which will allow me to see profits on a regular basis? Ie £200-£500? I plan on setting aside an hour or so each day and from what I read this should be enough? Thanks

Maccy there are loads of offers at the moment, now is a great time to get back in to it :)

Tempted to use my profit to try it for a month. I currently have £50 across the accounts, will I need a little more?

Happy to send a trust message if it's easier / Mods prefer. :)

I swear if you're sending referrals over Trust now I'm gonna permaban yo ass.

High 5 is such a good offer that now is a great time to get into MB.

2nd to SP is a difficult one to hit but there are a few bookies offering refunds for 2nd place (usually on a Saturday feature race) whilst Sky offer money back for 2nd/3rd on a chosen race Sat/Sun.

There's usually a few decent footy offers as well.

The main thing to be aware of is that if you're hitting reloads hard then make sure that you mug bet.

Also, try not to hit reloads too hard in the first few months after opening your account. Ideally stick to the sign-up offers which should generate a good profit for a few months then look to get involved in daily/weekly reloads to supplement income.

I thought the referal rule had been relaxed, it was in sports?

I can't find anything in the rules at all?

The Hi5 offer is hands down my favourite at the moment. I'm not even hitting it hard yet it's a fairly constant little stream of income. I'd imagine I could make a fwe hundred a week if I really went for it on a few accounts.
anyone done the beginner casino offers on yesbets and lost ? how long untill yesbets refund you your tenner like they say they will :p ?
Yesbets are usually very good at refunding. The Mfortune and Pocketwin refunds took the longest for me so far, less than 48 hours.

A few people went nuts on here recently with referrals, this thread turned into a vulture hunting ground so the mods rightfully cracked down on it.

As Diddums Forum Mod states, it got a bit OTT.

That's it - no hinting either chaps. Forum Mod I know you wanted me to take your post seriously, damn you - I almost did.
