Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

I think it's a strategy that requires a very large bank. As 0.01/0.02 shifts in the price are only going to earn you £1/2 for every £100 you place.

Correct. There's also a limit to the size it will scale to, due to available liquidity in the market.

Betway have a free bet club. Bet £25 per week and get a £5 free bet each week.
I'd stay well clear of Betway. Over ascot they did a bet £10 on the first race of the day and get a free£10 bet if it looses. Did the first two days and didn't get the bets then on chat they claimed they sent me an email the previous week saying I no longer qualify (the didn't send a thing and loads of others had the same problem).

Had to embarrass them on facebook and trustpilot before they offered me the free bets.

So I'm around £300 up in a month and a half which isn't bad, hit a bonus problem with a bookie I haven't come across before.

Essentially it's a matched bonus, so you deposit £20, get £20 matched to £40. That £40 has to be wagered 6 times though and you can't pull out your original £20 cash deposit until thats been done so as far as oddsmonkey and calculators goes... how do I approach that one without losing the original £20?

Two new companies on the scene, both with £100 offers - though the Royal Panda one is the only one worth doing by the looks of it.

Underlay it using the advanced calculator close to the minimum odds so that if the back bet does win then you have the full bonus available to use for wagering. If you go for big odds in the hope the back bet wins then you'll find a big chunk of your bank stuck in the bookie and not enough in the exchange to cover the wagering

The problem is, would you trust that amount of money potential ending up in their account with them being an unknown?

Royal Panda have been around for a while as a Casino. It's the Sportsbook that's new.

I've not heard anything bad on the Casino side. Haven't heard a thing about the Sportsbook though.

Hi guys just looking for some advice please

So was doing this quite a lot for about two months straight earlier in the year but mainly stuck to football.

Did one the other day on the horses and got a free £25 at PP

My question is, as the odds are so high (19 back and 18 lay) it has a £400 liability on Betfair and I'm a bit uneasy placing that simply because I don't understand the horses enough.

Is there any possible situation (specifically in horse racing) where I could lose the back bet (lose, or it gets cancelled) AND also lose the money I'm liable for in the exchange? Say the horse falls over or doesn't run to begin with or something?

What happens in these situations please?

Thanks! :D

I would keep away from anything over about 7/8/9.0 etc on the horses - liability is too much and you will clear out your exchange very quickly if the bet wins at the bookies.

You won't loose overall but personally anything over 10's on the horses is generally too much for my liking.

Alright cool, thanks! Good to know it can't be lost altogether.

Will try find something a bit lower though anyway as you say :)

If its a £25 free bet though and there's no wagering requirements then it doesn't really matter if the back bet wins as you'll be able to withdraw it from the bookie. It's recommended to not go high odds on a qualifying bet. But on the free bet it's recommended to look for odds over 5

been out of the MB scene about 5months due to gubbins and lack of offers. Is it still really dry or is it picking up for the new season?

Cool thank you. It is the free bet and I don't believe there is any wagering but I'll check the terms :)
